Global Warming, Cause and Effect

These days global warming is a serious problem World Wide. In fact, changes in the environment has become this World's biggest issue, which never ends. I will discuss the problems and solutions of this issue.

Starting with problems; one of the greatest is greenhouse gas emissions are increasing; the higher amounts of atmospheric pressure as a result of these gases will cause more radiation to be retained beneath the ozone layer. A second reason is open burning anywhere in the World. The entire world is experiencing very dry conditions due to limited rainfall, along with dry grass and brush having the potential for hazardous conditions. A final reason is education; in various environmental fields, many people don't know about this thing and dont't even care about it.

Turning to solutions, one is to reduce the gas and using the special equipment to protect our environment as much as we can. Another solution is strictly prohibiting the open burning and all people should co-operate in that. A final workable solution is to start teaching the new generation a bout the Global Warming problems and what can effect their future life and how they can protect the Earth.

In conclusion, if we don't see this problem and solve it or we don't take action soon, we may find our selves paying a heavy price.

My opinion about the movie (An inconvenient Truth):

I think this movie is very interesting because I was not aware of this problem. It actually makes me wonder if this problem will be solved or not.


In my view this movie is very clear and easy to follow because it lays out the problem and reasons for the problem. The movie then goes on to talk about solutions giving the watcher the impression that there is reason to be hopeful for the future.


As I watch this movie I ask my self if anything is being done to raise awareness about the Global Warming and about this problem and what measures we may take to change it.

Global Warming

Global warming has been one of the leading environmental issues for the past several years. Global warming is when an excess of certain gasses are produced and trap the sun’s heat in the atmosphere. One of the most abundant of these gases is carbon dioxide. It is released when fossil fuels and other things are burned for their energy. The average American family of 2 will produce 41,500 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. The Earth is able to cope with a certain amount of these gases otherwise known as greenhouse gases. With all of this the earth is heating up faster than most of its inhabitants can adapt to. Some just can’t cope with the new conditions and some are having their habitat destroyed by it. Other gases are destroying the ozone and letting in harmful UV rays and heating the earth even more. The earth has been doing fine but now many countries are in the industrial age and are manufacturing things and releasing more greenhouse gasses. The earth is essentially being thrown out of its natural balance.
